The July date in Del Mar is listed on the registration website, but I do not see the August Garden Grove date yet. See email thread below; they are happy to register 3 attendees from each agency, on a first come, first serve. Please sign up as soon as possible the July one is in San Diego County and the August one is in Orange County.

Good morning, Melody,
It is our practice to take reservations directly from the agency training managers rather than give any training group a number of spots to distribute. For July and August, we will be having two classes in Region 10:
* July 22-24, 2025 - Del Mar
* August 19-21, 2025 - Garden Grove
* Training managers are welcome to inquire about additional dates in other regions if needed.
I am happy to register up to three attendees from each agency per class on a first-come, first-served basis until the class is full. If an agency needs more than three seats, they can register for the other date or add their extra attendees to the waitlist until all agencies who need to take the class have their minimum needs met. To register their attendees, please have the training managers email us at this address with the following information:
* Attendees' names, POST-IDs, and email addresses
* Training manager's name, email address, and phone number

Good evening. Do you have presentation dates for August yet? For now, can we have 30 spots and I can divide out the spots to each agency in the San Diego Region? As for San Diego Harbor Police Department I don't have anyone that needs it. I am sure Chula Vista, Oceanside, Carlsbad, UCSD and Escondido, etc.... need to send. Please reply all to this email. I have Ccd the San Diego Training Managers Association Board Members as well as my POST Region 10 Manager; they are in need to bring this important training to San Diego.

Thank you for your interest in hosting the Use of Force class. At this time, our locations and dates have already been finalized for the upcoming year. We are unable to hold the Use of Force class at department facilities due to out-of-region attendees and instructors who would need lodging accommodations and may not have transportation to the facility. We are happy to work with you and give advance notice of class availability in order to get all your officers through the class.
We will be presenting a class in the San Diego region in August of this year. How many students do you need trained in total? Would you like to preemptively reserve space for your students?

Good afternoon Melody,
Our classes are 25 students per session and the classroom would need A/V capabilities. To properly teach the course, we'd need 1,500 sq ft. minimum space as well as 5 adjustable rectangular tables.
Is there a specific month that works best? We are plotting the next fiscal year and would need a general idea of what works for the group.

Good afternoon, the San Diego Training Manager Association is interested in hosting a couple of UOF Certified Instructor Course here in San Diego. I have a couple of questions so I can work out the logistics.
What is the minimum and maximum number of students you can teach per course?
What kind of classroom you need? Regular classroom with Audio and Video?
Do you have instructor availability for the fall or winter? Summer is a no GO due to many events in the region.
