Good afternoon,



To attend the California Department of Justice (DOJ), RAP Sheet Training, you must complete the California Law Enforcement Web (CLEW) Requirements.  The CLEW Requirements is for the following purpose:

  *   First Step:  Create the CLEW account. This is for vetting purposes to confirm the attendees are from an authorized agency.  Note, make sure the staff know their agency's ORI, it is mandatory to create the CLEW account
  *   Second Step:  Register online in CLEW to attend the webinar training. Follow the instructions below to register in CLEW.
  *   Third Step:  Obtain the training materials
  *   Final Step:  Once the staff completes the training, I will pdf the Certificate of Completion through CLEW directly to the attendees



Please follow the instructions below:



CLEW Account

Each attendee must register and establish a CLEW account, please refer to the CLEW website: https://clew.doj.ca.gov/user/register.



Note: CLEW can take a few days to review and process the account application.



Agency ORI

CLEW will request for the agency's Originating Agency Identifier (ORI), please reach out to your Agency CLETS Coordinator (ACC) if you do not know your agency's ORI.



CLEW Requirements instructions

  *   You must register for your CLEW account using your agency-assigned email address. CLEW will deny account applications that contain non-agency email addresses.  Examples, gmail.com, yahoo.com, hotmail.com, etc.
  *   If the information provided does not match the DOJ's records for your agency's ORI, CLEW will deny the application.



Instructions for the CLEW Confirmation and Training Materials

Once you have established your CLEW account, the next step is click on the link below to obtain and receive the CLEW Confirmation and the training materials:

Instructions to complete the CLEW Registration provide the following

Select "Myself," under "This registration is for" dropdown box

Provide Your Name

Provide Your Email Address

Click on the "Save Registration" button.

CLEW will send a Confirmation email, and on the same email is the training materials links.  It will be your discretion to print and bring the materials to the training.
