SDTMA De-Escalation for Dispatchers

Quick needs assessment. I know staffing continues to be an issue for most agencies, especially in the Communications Center, so I'm trying to determine if there is any interest in PERT's De-Escalation for Dispatchers class. This is a fully interactive one-day (8 hour) training class, encompassing mental health crisis, de-escalation, and law enforcement responses. The purpose of this course is to provide the student dispatchers (or any type of call taker, business office personnel, etc.) with a base of knowledge for serving individuals in mental health crisis or those with intellectual disabilities. The class is POST approved (CPT credit), designed for and open to ALL Law enforcement agencies.

I'm looking at possible dates in early November. Please let me know if you have interested personnel. Thanks.
