This position is subject to State Restriction Of Appointments (SROA) and State surplus policies. Surplus candidates must submit a copy of their surplus status letter.  SROA and surplus will be considered prior to other recruitment methods.  Other considerations may be given to transfers or lateral transfers from an equivalent class, former state employees who can reinstate into this class, or persons who are reachable on a current employment list in this classification.  All applicants, regardless of the type of eligibility, must meet the minimum qualifications for the classification.  Only the most qualified candidates will be selected for an interview.
