 “The 2016 California Electronic Communications Privacy Act (SB 178) Requires Search Warrant For Computer, Server, Cell Phone and Other Electronic Device Searches”
This eight-hour course will focus on the intricacies of Search Warrants from     A to Z and California's New Electronic Privacy Communications Act (SB 178), which went into effect January 1, 2016. Each attendee will obtain the knowledge to prepare and execute the various types of search and arrest warrants from establishing probable cause to understanding the administrative and associated legal issues and requirements.

The CEPCA (SB 178) established significant changes in the law and requires a Search Warrant to access electronic information and devices, including information from those on Fourth Amendment Waivers (Parole & Supervision).
