POST is coming out with a new Tac Comm learning portal interactive training. I know they just made the promotional video for it, so I imagine it will be available within the next couple of months. It will meet the 2 hour mandate required for LE.

Subject: SDTMA Verbal Judo - Inquiry

Years ago there was a class called Verbal Judo (or so I'm told) that taught verbal communication and de-escalation techniques for every day field contacts (not crisis negotiations).  Do any of you know of anyone who is teaching anything like that in California?  I checked the course catalog on POST to no avail, and I have done research on Google; but I wanted to check with the SDTMA experts as well.  Thanks in advance for any input.
