Hello,

The next 160-Hour POST Public Safety Dispatchers Basic Course will be presented from September 4th to October 2nd, 2026. The course will be Monday-Friday from 0800-1700, with a 1-hour lunch and will be held at the Sheriff's Technology & Information Center in Kearny Mesa.

The course will begin on a Friday to make-up for the Labor Day Holiday on September 7th, 2026 when there will be no class.

Registration for the course will begin on June 2nd, 2026 at 0900. Please look out for the registration link that will be sent out to you all on that date and time.

Seats are first-come, first-serve and we are not able to take reservations.

If you know of any other agency or individual that needs this information, please let me know so I can add forward the message and add them to the list.
