Could you please send this email out to our fellow training managers to be disseminated to their Sgt's and ALL detectives.

Good morning fellow training managers 🙂

High-Technology Crimes, required for Sergeants and Detectives per PC 13515.55 is required for ALL Sgt's and Detectives regardless of their assignment.  A bulletin is forthcoming very soon but I wanted to give everyone a heads up.  Upon completion the course, 4 hours of credit will be given but course can be completed in less time.

If you are a Sgt and attended the POST Supervisory Course 2022 or after, you can disregard taking the LP Technology Crimes because the criteria was already taught in the Supervisory Course when you were promoted to Sgt.

However, ANY detective, regardless of assignment will need to take the Technologies Crimes course on the Learning Portal.

This is a one and done course and will not need to be repeated.
