PEACE OFFICER STANDARDS AND TRAINING

POST to Host Decertification Process Workshops

The Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST), in collaboration with the Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC), will be providing several presentations of a two-hour decertification class that covers practical information about Senate Bill 2 (2021). The class will include topics such as POST's role in serious misconduct investigations, an introduction to the definitions of serious misconduct categories, and the decertification process. You'll also have the opportunity to ask any decertification-related questions as well as receive relevant information about your certification.
