CDC's SUDORs dashboard was recently updated with final 2023 overdose data. Despite some promising decreases in overdose deaths, fentanyl continued to drive fatal overdoses in 2023, a reminder that the opioid overdose crisis is far from over. The presence of illegally made fentanyl continues to pose a significant threat to our communities.
