Good morning San Diego County Substance Use Prevention Superheroes!

As most of you know, I am the President of the San Diego Veterans Coalition (SDVC) and I want to make sure to let you know, more formally, that you are welcome to attend and participate and operate in the SDVC efforts across the County. Over the course of the year SDVC has over 150 participating organizations, businesses, and agencies that communicate, collaborate, coordinate, and integrate to connect with each other and better engage and serve active duty Military, Veterans, Guards, Reserves, and their Families.

SDVC monthly meetings are in person/virtual (hybrid) 8:30-10:30 a.m. on the 1st Friday of each month and they rotate around the County. Details about the physical address and and link to register to attend virtual at the bottom of page at https://sdvetscoalition.org

Seraphina attended in person this past Friday in Lakeside and I'm sure she will be glad to give you the 4-1-1 on her experience.

The September 5th meeting is at the County of San Diego, Southeastern Live Well Center - Tubman Chavez Conference Center

SDVC has four action groups that meet virtually once a month and two of them align with public health substance use prevention work: Physical & Emotional Health action group (PEH) and Family Life Action Group (FLAG).

Also, you can post your workshops on the SDVC Announcement Board under the About tab, and they will go out in the SDVC Weekly newsletter.
