Flyers and Social Media
Attached to this email are copies of Take Back flyers in English and Spanish. I have also included jpgs for posting and advertising on social media.

To increase public participation, we have purchased many forms of advertising:
Print Newspapers:
The San Diego Union Tribune - October 20th

Billboards:
There are 15 billboards across the county.

MTS Transportation:
We purchased ad space on the back of 13 busses that are supposed to rotate through different routes and neighborhoods.
We also purchased ad space on 40 bus shelters, again randomly located across the county.

Lastly, DEA has launched a new initiative that went live this year, Every Day is Take Back Day:
The DEA has launched a new campaign encouraging the public to make Every Day Take Back Day by utilizing year-round collection sites to dispose of unneeded and unwanted medications. These safe disposal receptacles, in addition to DEA's annual Take Back Day events, provide the public with an easy, no-cost opportunity to anonymously dispose of medications that are no longer needed. San Diego County has over 200 permanent drop off receptacles for the public to utilize.
