Do you have any sergeants that will be retiring and or sergeants being promoted from now till December of 2025? Right now I have 1 sergeant that needs to finish by this November and 4 from either retiring or promotion to Lt.

Good evening. Dan Schmitt with POST asked that I reach out to the training managers in our region to have them each run a compliance analysis report for the Supervisory Course.  As for my agency I send out my sergeants to Orange County to receive training, which is a big hit to my training and travel budget as well as to patrol staffing. My agency foresees a couple of Sergeants retiring, promotions in a couple of months.

SDSO course schedule is few or class is full.  GTA is willing to become a presenter for this course.  Dan just need data and will determine the need to provide more presenter to instruct besides SDSO.  Please respond by May 28th as to how many sergeants you anticipate needing the Supervisory Course.
