Tactical Medicine - Training to be conducted at El Cajon Police Department
Course Description: This course is designed to teach first responders (LE, Fire, EMS, etc.) how to treat and manage trauma patients in a civilian tactical environment. Utilizing a mix of classroom presentation and hands-on skills practice, attendees will learn how to provide life-sustaining treatments in threatening environments.
All course material is based off best practices from the Committee on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (CoTCCC) and Committee on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (CoTECC).

Interdiction Mastermind
Course Description: This course is intended to give police officers a clear understanding of what it means to be an effective criminal interdiction officer. The instructor, Sergeant Kenny Williams, will break down piece by piece the tactics and mindset utilized by proactive police officers. The course covers the importance of vehicle selection for a pre-textual stop and will go through how and why he chooses specific vehicles. Having this knowledge will save countless hours of trial and error. "Interdiction Mastermind," will also cover why criminals join criminal enterprises, common drug routes, body language, deceptive behavior, and common-sense approaches to understanding reasonable suspicion. Moreover, Williams will discuss effective demeanor and language to be utilized by officers during their interaction with potential offenders.

The course includes several video clips from Williams' actual stops, in order to show and explain exactly what he found suspicious. Williams will also be answering any questions that are posed, offering his successful perspective on the topic. The amount of understanding and confidence officers will take away after the completion of the course will serve to be invaluable. Police officer's nationwide have gained knowledge from watching Kenny Williams' motor vehicle stops on video, and now have the opportunity to learn from him firsthand.  This really is a rare opportunity to be a part of training that is unlike any other.

Human Trafficking in Narcotic Investigations
Course Description:  There are an estimated 50 million human trafficking victims worldwide. In the United
States alone, 400 thousand people are exploited through either sex trafficking or labor trafficking. In 2021, these traffickers earned approximately $150 billion dollars, more than any fortune 500 company including Apple, Amazon, Disney, General Motors and Ford. What does human trafficking have to do with narcotics trafficking, and how can taking this training help my narcotics investigations?

This training is the same course that is provided to the DEA, US State Department and numerous law enforcement agencies throughout the US. It is Human Trafficking in Narcotics Investigations, and it covers the direct correlation between human trafficking and all levels of narcotics investigations, from street level to transnational trafficking.

CA POST - Training to be conducted at Escondido Police Department
Law Enforcement on the Stand
Course Description:  Officers testify at various phases of criminal cases and the stakes are always high.  Cases are won or lost on the quality of the testimony of law enforcement officers.  All of the effort and hours put into a good investigation can be destroyed by bad testimony.
Officers will learn to "de-escalate" testimony and respond effectively to attacks on police credibility in today's highly charged environment.
This course offers meaningful training on how to answer the questions  government lawyers ask on direct and defense lawyers ask during cross-examination.  Officers will learn how to better prepare for giving testimony under oath and how to effectively handle attacks on credibility. Themes, theories, objections and exhibits and how they are used in the courtroom will be addressed.
This is a highly effective program, taught by a nationally recognized instructor and tailored to give officers essential skills needed when they are called to testify.

Social Media and Open Source Investigations
Course Description:  This two-day Social Media & Open Source Investigations course is designed to equip law
enforcement officers with the necessary skills and knowledge to gather information from publicly available sources, such as social media, websites, and other online platforms.

The course will cover a range of topics, including the legal and ethical considerations involved in conducting social media & Open Source (OSINT) investigations, the identification and evaluation of online sources, and the use of specialized tools and techniques for data analysis and verification. Participants will learn how to leverage social media platforms to identify and track criminal activity, monitor threat indicators, and gather evidence for investigations. Throughout the training, officers will be encouraged to practice their skills through hands-on exercises and case studies, enabling them to develop a practical understanding of how to use social media and OSINT in real-world scenarios. By the end of the course, officers will have a comprehensive understanding of the principles and
techniques of OSINT and be able to effectively integrate these methods into their investigative practices. They will also be equipped with the knowledge and skills to ensure that their use of social media and other online sources is lawful, ethical, and in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
