Hi SDTMA,

GTA will be offering a new course this Spring, which is specifically designed for line level supervisors or field training officers to enhance their training skills.

Below is the course information, so feel free to share as appropriate:

Building & Facilitating Tabletop Training Course
This course specifically designed for field sergeants, field training officers and other law enforcement personnel tasked with developing personnel, often in non-conventional training environments, to analyze and respond to complex events. Students will design and facilitate training exercises to develop different models of thought, strategy, planning, tactics and execution to resolve complex problems in extraordinarily difficult and challenging environments. All training exercises developed as part of this course will be documented and may be utilized by all students, at their agencies, to support the professionalism and development of law enforcement personnel across the State of California.

There are no required pre-requisites required to attend the course.
