My name is Antone Haley and I am an officer with the San Francisco Police Department. I am currently enrolled in the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Master Instructor Certification Course and am proposing the development of a new course focused on preparing officers to survive a sudden violent encounter. The proposed course would integrate firearms skills and defensive tactics training over three intensive days.
