Please forward the below message seeking completion of a brief survey to the Training Managers in your respective regions.



POST is conducting a survey to determine if there is an ongoing, unmet training need for detectives and other criminal investigators employed by POST-participating agencies. The use of this survey is for POST's research purposes only, and the identity of those completing the survey is 100% anonymous.



The ICI Program<https://post.ca.gov/Institute-of-Criminal-Investigation> currently offers the Criminal Investigation Core course, 13 Foundation Specialty courses, and several investigative electives; however, it is unknown if there remains an ongoing, unmet investigative training need that could be addressed under the ICI Program. So, the field's assistance is being sought to help answer this question. Specifically, detectives and other criminal investigators are requested to complete the short survey using this link<https://forms.office.com/g/bciHXvyHGa> by the deadline of June 23, 2023.
