Good morning Everyone,

The La Mesa Police Department would like to host you all for a county wide background investigators meeting on September 21, 2023, from 1200-1400. This is a great opportunity to meet investigators from other agencies and discuss the collective challenges we face during our candidate selection process. We are looking forward to having Matthew O'Deane and Dan Schmitt from POST.

Please RSVP to Sergeant Jose Gaytan at jgaytan at cityoflamesa.us<mailto:jgaytan at cityoflamesa.us> by September 15, 2023. This way we can get an accurate head count for food. Also, if you have any topics you would like to discuss, please email them to Sergeant Gaytan in a timely manner so we can add them to the agenda.

As we get closer to the day of the meeting I will send more updates to include the agenda.
