SDTMA Street Racing Training 05/19/ Escondido PD

Good morning,

Escondido Police will be holding a training on Street Racing/ Sideshow and Modified Vehicle Enforcement Training, taught by the CHP.  Class will take place May 19th from 0800-1700 at the Escondido Police Department.

**Please note, there are 10 spots still available to any sworn officer.  Enrollment will go to the first 10 who enroll.

About the training:  The class will train officers on what to look for on modified vehicles as it relates to the import and domestic street racer and sideshow events and what vehicle code sections can be cited.  In addition, the training will include CVC 10751 violations, court testimony and information on street bikes.  There will also be a hands-on portion of the training on modified vehicles.
