SDTMA,

Seasons Greetings!  At the November 17th SDTMA meeting concerns of low attendance was brought up.  Understandably COVID post pandemic has made it hard for us to come together.  Staffing is low, and we are all playing catch up after two years of being on lock-down. We all had to adapt quickly from social distancing.  Personally, I really enjoy getting together and collaborating on what is going on in the "Training World". Putting the face to the name.  Our group supported each other with our time, talent and treasures keeping our agencies in compliance.  Some suggestions are 1). Have Zoom Meetings vs.  In-Person or perhaps a hybrid of both for those who can't make it out of the office. 2).  Offer $25/ agency who attend the SDTMA meeting to be used for paying for training tuition. 3).  Change the frequency of our meetings to quarterly.
