SDTMA PC 832 Course Needs Assessment

SDTMA Members -

At the May meeting, there were several requests for a PC 832 Course in our region.  Palomar College Police Academy is working on getting this course certified with POST to offer it in San Diego County.  Part of our Training Needs Assessment includes gathering commitment letters from area agencies to substantiate the need for the course.  We are first working on the 40-hour Arrest course and will look at offering the 24-hours Firearms course later, if there is a need.  Our goal is to get the PC 832 Arrest course certified and able to be offered in the next couple months.
