SDTMA Next Week's meeting

Good Afternoon SDTMA!

We are going to again cancel July's SDTMA meeting due to the fact that we cannot find a location to accommodate us following social distancing guidelines and the fact that not every agency has the same capability/program to conduct a virtual meeting.  We hope by September we will be allowed to meet in person.  In the meantime, if you have any issues that you'd like input on from the group, just email members at sdtma.org<mailto:members at sdtma.org> and your question will go out to the entire group.

With that being said, there are two issues the board needs action on as soon as possible:


  1.  We will be needing a new Webmaster as Kirk Shea will no longer be able to do it as of September.  Preferably it should be someone with a little computer knowledge, but it you are willing to learn, we will take you.  Kirk is willing to train the person before he leaves training.  Please let the board know ASAP if you are interested.  It's not a lot of work.  Mostly just adding and removing people from the distribution list and updating the website as needed and at your convenience.
  2.  Sgt. John Russo has been transferred out of training and will be unable to maintain his Presidency after this year.  We need someone to step up and be President.  As of now, there are 2 board positions held by non-POST agencies (VP and Sec), so the President should be from a POST agency.  Please submit your interest in this position to the board ASAP as well.  We will hold the election at our holiday lunch meeting in Nov.
