SDTMA Gun Locks

With the passage of 2017's SB 869 requiring firearms being locked in a lockbox and it not exempting on or off duty peace officers, what are your agencies doing to comply with this law?

My concern in particular is going to adult CMH and officers not being able to take firearms inside, forcing them to place them in their trunks in an unsecure area.  Are you buying lock boxes for each of your vehicles?
