I think our agency is going to try and get our class POST certified as well.  That is the direction I got from our chain of command since we are training 50 plus officers a year from our agency and other local agencies in our current three day course and we already have course outlines etc.  Just wanted to let you know.

The San Diego Harbor Police Department is considering creating a POST Certified Bicycle Officer class, which would be available for all agencies in our region.  Part of our needs assessment is to survey agencies in our TMA to determine if there is an unmet need in this area.  If you or a representative from your agency could answer the following questions, it would be greatly appreciated.



Do any SDTMA participating agencies have a POST Certified Bicycle Officer class, which is being presented on a regular basis?



Would any SDTMA participating agencies have an interest in sending officers to a local POST Certified Bicycle Officer class?
