SDTMA Members,

 

CNOA Region IV was able to pull together a great training opportunity.  I
have officers who were part of the assault team involved in the shoot with
the terrorist and survivors of the terror attach (shooting) coming in to
talk about the incident.  This will be a dynamic class. This class is free
to Military LE because they are hosting the class.  Please post and send to
anyone in LE that you think could benefit from the training.

 

 

 

San Bernardino Terror Attack

February 16th, 2017

Description

On December 2, 2015, the world watch a terrorist attack unfold in front of
their eyes in San Bernardino California.  This is a class on the tragic
events that occurred that day at the Inland Regional Center.  Members from
the San Bernardino Police Department and actual survivors of this mass
shooting will be reviewing the attack on the IRC perpetrated by Syed Rizwan
Farook and Tashfeen Malik.  The presenters will provide an overview of the
perpetrators planning, attack and the eventual encounter with SBPD's
Narcotic Unit.  The survivors will share their experience both during and
after the shooting.  This class will end with a Lessons Learned Debrief and
an opportunity for Q & A.

This class was first presented at the 2016 CNOA Conference and was amazing.

Don't miss this firsthand account from officers who responded, were involved
in the shootout with the terrorist and the stories from some of the
survivors of the terrorist attack.
