Regarding local (SD) Department's going to the 2014 TMW...just to clarify...

Per POST the deal we have for the 2014 TMW is as follows, under 50 miles - they must travel on a TRR to get reimbursement - so their agency has to be paying for them.  POST will NOT reimburse on an LOA if under 50 miles.  Hope that clears it up - any questions please let me know.

Also, at last weeks SDTMA meeting the board voted and approved to pay the tuition for up ten (10) of our members.  You are on the hook for your own hotel, etc. but we will pay for your tuition.  Obviously, if your department is willing to pay-let them, but if the only reason you are not going is the money-please let us know and we will cover the cost.  The conference is going to be great and we want you to go.  This offer is first come first served.
