4 Day Training Course: "Investigative Strategies for Missing and Abducted Children"


Please help spread the word about this course to anyone one in law enforcement (sworn / civilian)who workswith investigating missing children cases.  This is the first time this four day course has ever been offered in the LA region before.  Please forward this email and registration document to anyone who you feel might benefit by attending this training.

The U.S. Department of Justice in partnership with the LAPD is offering a free 4 day training course designed to provide law enforcement personnel with in-depth information necessary to properly understand, recognize, and investigate cases involving missing and abducted children.

All fees for the 4 day course are paid for by the Federal Government - except parking and lunch. The course will be held in downtown Los Angeles from April 22-25, 2013, at LAPD Headquarters.

You will need to go to the site, sign in and get a password ( if you do not have one already). This is an agency that provides training to law enforcement nationwide, and offers a wide variety of training opportunities, both in California and out of state.  It is often free!
