The ULTRA-ADVANCED surveillance course... to provide techniques for sophisticated criminals; foot surveillance, and transportation switches... define and refine skills for professionals where surveillance makes all the difference in the success of a case and the safety of the public and investigators involved.

This class will test the skills, decisions, and abilities of the team... as one unit ... working the techniques introduced (with a refresher) by LCI from past Rolling Surveillance courses and adding electronic surveillance to human skills. This will be an intense working course which involves... (2) day and evening scenarios focused on a Terrorist Group meeting and attempt to plant a car bomb at a populated location... and an Organized White Supremacist Group involved in a Vehicle Theft Export operation.... using counter surveillance techniques to avoid law enforcement and to succeed in their criminal activities. The Instructor Assisted day (Tuesday) will also involve a more intense OMG style Drug trafficking scenario which will include a level of twist and turns to aid in the preparation for the next two days/evenings of intense surveillance scenarios. This class WILL prepare the attendees for "the big" and/or "important case" involving professional criminals who make it their business and livelihood to succeed in their criminal activities... Professional Law Enforcement investigators can now train to be prepared to respond to the need!

Electronic Devices provided for this class to be used with Human Skills in the field:

Live Time Tracker (1-3 seconds) with Laptop Computer or team may use there own.
Body Wire (1 watt) and Receiver (Decision by case agent to be attached to C.I.)
Digital Cameras (7.1 MP) (for documentation of criminal associate meetings & locations and criminal activities)
Video Camera (Record criminal activities for evidence)
Spotting Scope with Digital Camera Attachment (Long range covert photo documentation)

All evidence for each scenario will be debriefed by case agents on Friday, utilizing photographs/video and audio documentation.

The groups Patience, Discipline, Communication, Trust , Technique and Team Work will be the six critical elements necessary for success. We provide the technique and instruction... you have to bring the rest!... Your scheduled adjustments throughout each day will equal 40 hours for the week.

Pre-requisite: Highly recommended that attendees should have completed the Rolling Surveillance course to understand the applied techniques AS A TEAM, and the importance of the six critical elements taught by LCI.

This course will include one (1) lunch and one (1) dinner... together as a team in the field at a sit-down restaurant, training guides, training certificate... and the best surveillance training offered by anyone.. anywhere!

In addition to the vehicle surveillance techniques taught, this class will include more in-depth coverage on foot surveillance, transportation switches, and coordinated efforts with vehicle units, electronic tracker use and applications (team will be allowed to use the provided tracker/laptop computer during scenario... though don't get to comfortable with it), and the importance of front / back coverage techniques with deep perimeter set-up at all stop locations - follow / set-up techniques and response to the variety of counter surveillance techniques, including the ability to deal with transportation switches and to think outside of the box to see what is coming ... and to understand what you are seeing to better your decision making!
