COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Wall stops from the Patrol and Investigative perspectives, what to do, what to ask, and how to protect yourself and your case when under attack in court.  This course will cover the stop from the moment the request is made and taking the officers step by step up and through their testimony in court.  Additionally, Investigators will be given tips on how to handle the "wall" information, tips on informants and using their information, the law with regards to protecting their "wall" information, and the options available to both Patrol and Investigator to ensure the "wall" remains intact.  Finally, DDA Dave Williams will provide information regarding the Brady Index the top pitfalls of "wall" stops as they relate to Brady.
