Dear Employer:

 

Grossmont College is pleased to invite you to attend our 35th Annual
CAREER EXPO on Wednesday, October 16, 2013. The event is organized and
coordinated by our Career Center and Student Employment Programs.  The
theme for this year's event is "BUILDING YOUR CAREER" and will be held
from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Main Quad on campus.  

 

EXPO's primary purpose is to introduce students and community members to
job opportunities and career options in the San Diego area.  CAREER EXPO
also provides an informal setting for employers to interact with
Grossmont degree and certificate program coordinators, faculty and
staff.  Your participation will enable you to discuss career,
internship, community service learning and work experience opportunities
within your organization and/or field of expertise.

 

As in previous years, CAREER EXPO 2013 will be open to the community and
we encourage you to join us. Your participation and the information you
provide will be invaluable aids to our students' career planning.  It
will also assist faculty and administrators in the areas of curriculum
and program development. 

 

The event is $25.00 for Exhibitor participation.  We have added EXPO
Sponsorship opportunities for local employers attending the event.  If
you are interested in participating as an EXPO sponsor, please refer to
the sponsor sheet information flyer included with your invitation.

 

This is an outdoor event, so please dress for comfort.  Tables and
chairs will be provided.  The layout is arranged to afford as much
shelter as possible, but if you have a clamp-on umbrella or a small
canopy, you are encouraged to bring it for shade.  Please look for
signage and/or District Security if you should require assistance when
you arrive to our campus on the day of CAREER EXPO. 

 

Please complete and return the enclosed registration form no later than
Friday, September 13th.  Be sure to include promotional information on
the page provided.  We will publish a 2013 Program of Exhibitors, which
will be available to all participants on the day of the event.  Tables
will be assigned as confirmations are received.
