SDTMA Passing of PJ Ortmeier

 We regret to inform you that PJ Ortmeier, Administration Of Justice
(AOJ) instructor and retired coordinator, passed away Saturday morning,
Sept 15th, after more than three years of  bravely battling cancer.
Grossmont College was enriched by PJ's presence as a leader and family
member.  He will be sorely missed by his family, friends, colleagues and
community.

 

PJ served 46 combined years in the military, law enforcement, and AOJ
education. The funeral services are as follows: 

 

*         Thursday, Sept. 20 at 10am at Our Lady of Grace, 2766 Navajo
Rd, El Cajon, CA  92020

 

*         Burial will take place immediately following Mass at El Camino
Memorial Park located at 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd., San Diego, CA.   

 

*         Flowers and plants can be sent to East County Mortuary located
at 374 N. Magnolia Ave, El Cajon, CA  92020   OR

 

*         Donations in memory of PJ Ortmeier can be made to the
Grossmont Cuyamaca Community College to establish a scholarship for
