Greetings TMA members-
I have been assigned to a suicide prevention work group for my agency (unfortunately, ours are up) and I am attempting to determine what effective measures are already in place in the LE community.  At present we are looking at LAPD's 'KNOW SUICIDE' Program, but we're interested in what everyone is doing as well as any general input/advice anyone might have on the topic.

On a similar note, we are exploring the possibility of importing Clark Paris' "The Pain Behind the Badge" seminar to the San Diego area, and I would like to know if your department/agency would be interested in sending personnel.  I do not yet have a cost, location, or number of seats available, so I realize it is hard to answer that question.  I am looking only for preliminary interest at this point.
