POST Instructor Symposium 2011

April 5-8, 2011 - Doubletree San Jose 

 

The symposium is designed for active, hands-on participation by the
students.  Several notable speakers will give keynote presentations and
workshops.  The purpose of this symposium is to further develop the
instructor skills of the California law enforcement instructor; it is
OPEN TO ALL California law enforcement trainers.  There will be
workshops provided to address all levels of experience from the novice
through the Master Instructor.

NOTE: There will be a special morning session and lunch on April 5th for
ICI Instructors only, starting at 8:00 am. The general session will
start on April 5th at 1:30 pm for ALL attendees.  If you are an ICI
instructor and will be attending the morning session, you are authorized
to travel and lodge the night of April 4th. All general session
attendees must travel and begin their lodging on April 5th. POST will
only reimburse lodging for attendees that live 51 miles or more (one
way) from the event site.

 

 for MIDP/MICC Instructors...  

 

NOTE: There will be a special dinner on Thursday April 7th for MIDP or
MICC instructors. The cost for this dinner event is $18 per person.  You
may bring a guest if you choose.  Please pay for your dinner attendance
with your online registration/meal fee.

 

The Details... 

POST Plan: "Special Seminar" (there is no plan 1, 2, 3, or 4) -
Reimbursement for POST reimbursable agencies via LOA. 

Registration/Meal Fees:  
$30 for non-ICI instructors (includes 2 lunches).

$40 for ICI instructors (includes early start and 3 lunches).  

The MIDP/MICC dinner is for MIDP/MICC instructors and their guests.
Dinner is $18 per person and will be collected with your
registration/meal fee.

Please NOTE:  Advanced registration/meal-fee payment is REQUIRED for the
Symposium.  There is a 2-week cancellation policy.  No
registration/meal-fee refunds or adjustments will be given within the
two week cancellation period.
