SDTMA SPEAR System Weapon Retention - 2nd class added

Due to such an overwhelming response to the initial flier we sent out (over 70 responses), Carlsbad PD will be offering a second free SPEAR Weapon Retention course the same week.



If you have already registered for the course, but this date works better for you, let Sgt. Lehan know and he'll switch it for you.   He would like to get both classes around the same size.

Friday       09-09-11     0800-1700


Both courses are here at Carlsbad PD, 2560 Orion Way, Carlsbad CA 92010 - Safety Center Conference Rooms. The course is free to active duty law enforcement and military. Please call or email Sgt. ** Uniform of the day is comfortable attire, but as this is a weapon retention/protection course so please wear some type of pants/shorts that has loops so that your duty belt will stay in place.

No live weapons or ammunition will be allowed in the training venue.  If you do not have a Red/Blue/ASP Gun, we have some extras, keep in mind we may not have the correct model for your holster**
