The Tampa Police Department recently lost two officers in the line of
duty.  Officers David Curtis and Jeffrey Kocab were both killed in cold
blood on a traffic stop. They were both 31 yrs old. Officer Curtis had
four young children. Officer Kocab left behind a wife who was nine
months pregnant. Due to complications, Mrs. Kocab gave birth to a
stillborn infant one week after burying her husband.  

 

The Tampa Police Department is currently putting together a cookbook as
a fundraiser to earn money for these two families.  They are not seeking
donations, but are reaching out to police officers in all 50 states to
gather "recipes" for the CALLING ALL CARS 911 Cookbook.  They  would
like  police officers to submit one or more recipes if they prefer to
participate.  Please email the recipe(s) to the website on the attached
flyer. 100% of the profits will be distributed between the families of
both Officers. 

 

Deadline for submissions is Sept 15, 2010. The email address for recipes
